Yoga for Beginners

Mondays, starting January 13, 10-11am
Wednesdays, starting January 15th, 6:30-7:30pm

2 different sessions beginning in January, one morning and one evening to suit your schedule! If you are completely new to Yoga, wanting to gain more confidence in your practice, or perhaps you have been out of practice for a while and want to revisit the basics our Beginner Yoga is for you! It will introduce all the key elements of a Yoga practice including fundamental Yoga poses and sequences, breathing exercises, linking breath to movement, and basic Yoga philosophy. We build confidence, body awareness, and create a smooth transition into our drop in classes. Demonstrated and explained thoroughly including modifications and time for you to discover the variations that work best for your body!  3 weeks, 60 minute classes, mat rental included.

Prenatal Yoga

Tuesdays, starting January 14th, 6:30-7:30pm

Great things are growing! Join Jess (certified Pre-Natal Yoga teacher) for a 6 week Prenatal Yoga program that is adapted to the body’s development. Through yoga breath and posturing we will help prepare the body and mind for the physical and mental demands of childbirth. Mat rental included.

Post Natal/Mom and Baby Yoga

Thursdays starting January 16th, 11:30am-12:30pm
Tuesdays starting February 4th, 11:30am-12:30pm
Join Jess (certified Post Natal Yoga teacher) for this 8 week program for Moms and pre-crawling babies. This is not a class where baby just gets to tag along! Both mom AND baby practice. Postnatal specific practice for mom's to keep them safe, get them moving, and rebuild strength. Baby specific practice to promote development, help with digestion and better sleep. And of course some fun and bonding time with a practice together in a safe and nurturing environment. Come on out, get active, and meet other new mom's in the community. Mat rental included.

Led Ashtanga Primary Series

Led Ashtanga Primary Series
Thursdays starting January 16th, 6-7:30pm 

Join Creekside Yoga for a 8 week session flowing through the Ashtanga Primary Series. A 90 minute class consisting of a set sequence of powerful yoga postures followed by the sweetest savasana. Up to 50 low push up positions (chaturangas) per class! If you want to build strength and flexibility this sequence is for you. Class is recommended for those familiar with Yoga asana and/or the Ashtanga Primary Series.

Yoga for Beginners Level II

Wednesdays, beginning February 5th, 6:30-7:30pm
Have you tried our Yoga for Beginners program and unsure what to do next? Or looking to get back into your practice after a long break? This 3 week session is perfect as we will build on your existing knowledge and delve deeper. Variations on postures, flowing movements together, working toward full sun salutations and deepening your alignment. Nate leads the class as Jess moves throughout the room to provide hands on adjustments helping students find better alignment, increased stabilization and deeper relaxation. Mat rental included.

Valentine's Day Date Night Partner Yoga

A wonderful way to connect with your partner through mindful movements, breath work, and laughter. A fun practice led by both Jess and Nate. No yoga experience necessary. Note this is partner yoga, not AcroYoga.

Arm Balance and Inversion Workshop

Sunday March 15th - 1pm-3pm
Beginning with strength and mobility movements to prepare the body (arms, shoulders, core) for arm balances and inversions. We'll move through preparatory poses that focus on technique and building confidence. There will be time for assisted poses/spotting and individualized feedback.
