Whether its your first experience with Yoga or you’ve been practicing for years, we truly have something to offer everyone. It’s not about touching your toes its about what you learn on the way down.
We are active supporters of our local community, doing our best to donate our time and money to charitable causes that align with our common goals. Keep an eye out for us at events and donation based classes to help raise awareness and money for this wonderful community.
Our Stirling studio is bullfrogpowered® with 100% green electricity. This means we are reducing our energy pollution, supporting the development of green energy projects across Canada, and creating a cleaner, healthier world for Canadians.
Our Creekside Mantra is ‘let it flow’ and we try our best to apply this message in all aspects of life.
Many people come to yoga to escape the noise of everyday life, taking time to go inside and reflect, therefore we ask for silence before and after class in the practice room. If you wish to chat, catch up, or ask the instructor questions we have a beautiful reception and seating area available. We will ask that cell phones remain in reception or on silent if they must be brought into the practice room. Look at this as a way to disconnect from modern stress, and recharge your body mind.
Creekside Yoga is run by Jess and Nate Rogers. They have been partners in life and travel since 2008. Their yoga practice began among the rice paddies of Indonesia in 2010. Since then Yoga has been a central part of their lives.
They completed their 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Teacher Training in Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow with Deepak Sharma of Sampoorna Yoga India in 2014. Following the training they were accepted into a Karma Yogi internship which allowed them to deepen their practice, fine tune their teaching skills, and immerse into the local culture.
It is also here in the magical land of India where they discovered AcroYoga. In July 2015 they travelled to Montreal and trained with Eugene Poku and Jessie Goldberg of AcroYoga Montreal, where they completed their 200 hour AcroYoga Teacher Training.
Throughout their travels they have taught and been taught, always learning and spreading the message of the Yoga Sutras wherever they go. They continue to update their skill set with continuing education through Yoga Alliance. Jess completed her Pre and Post Natal Yoga Teacher Training . Nate completed his Yin Yoga teacher training. Together they have completed and contributed to a Partner Yoga teacher training and many other advanced practitioner workshops.
Yoga is their practice, passion, and life.
